heart of&nbsp;<strong>Wish Maker<\/strong>, a volunteer program run by SK Innovation affiliates employees in partnership with&nbsp;<strong>Make-A-Wish<\/strong>, the global nonprofit that grants wishes for children with critical illnesses, including leukemia and pediatric cancers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the launch of the first Wish Maker cohort in&nbsp;May 2024, SK Innovation has formed small volunteer teams (typically&nbsp;7 to 8 members) to support each child as&nbsp;<strong>Wish Angels<\/strong>\u2014planning and delivering a wish experience with care, respect, and as an \u201cHonorary New Member\u201d<\/strong><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seongmin,<\/strong> a Wish Kid, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2024\u2014about a year before he reached adulthood\u2014and has been continuing treatment with strong determination. To cheer him on as he focused on his recovery, a Wish Maker team of SK Innovation volunteers, \u201c<strong>Skeu-Skeu-Hae<\/strong>,\u201d came together as one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seongmin has long been a passionate gamer, so the Skeu-Skeu-Hae team set out to arrange a meeting with <strong>T1<\/strong>\u2014one of the world\u2019s most iconic esports teams and the first in League of Legends (LoL) history to win three consecutive Worlds titles (2023\u20132025), with six world championships overall. They hoped Seongmin could feel the positive energy of players who keep pushing toward their goals\u2014never giving up, and steadily turning effort into achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But after last year\u2019s championship, T1\u2019s calendar became packed\u2014so the meeting Seongmin had been hoping for could not happen right away. Still, Seongmin carried another dream in his heart: to one day work at a big company. The Wish Maker team decided not to let the moment pass. They invited Seongmin to SK Seorin Building, where SK Innovation\u2019s headquarters is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 18, Seongmin\u2019s <strong>Wish Day<\/strong>, he arrived with a flutter of excitement and, for one special day, became an honorary new employee. SK Seorin Building is the kind of workplace many young people imagine when they picture their future, with modern shared workspaces and special locations like VR rooms. The T1 team, including \u201cFaker\u201d himself, gladly welcomed the chance to meet Seongmin and support him by sharing their own stories of challenge and growth as pro gamers. Faker\u2019s well-known saying, \u201cEvery setback is just part of the journey toward success,\u201d felt especially meaningful in this moment\u2014a reminder to Seongmin that even through life\u2019s difficulties, new achievements are always possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;January 23, Seongmin was invited to the&nbsp;<strong>2026 LCK Cup<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>LoL PARK (Jongno)<\/strong>, where he watched&nbsp;<strong>T1 vs. kt<\/strong>&nbsp;live. T1\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>2\u20130 victory<\/strong>, powered by a memorable comeback, made the day even more unforgettable\u2014especially for Seongmin, whose eyes stayed locked on the stage from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the match, the long-awaited meeting became reality.&nbsp;<strong>Choi \u201cDoran\u201d Hyeon-jun, Mun \u201cOner\u201d Hyeon-jun, Lee \u201cFaker\u201d Sang-hyeok, Kim \u201cPeyz\u201d Soo-hwan, and Ryu \u201cKeria\u201d Min-seok<\/strong>&nbsp;took time to meet Seongmin, share stories, and offer encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Seongmin asked for advice on staying mentally strong in tough moments, \u2018Faker\u2019 pointed first to the basics\u2014getting enough sleep and taking time to steady his mind. Rather than dwelling on wins and losses, Faker explained, he focuses on doing his best in the moment, one step at a time. As they talked about values, hobbies, and ways to manage stress, Seongmin\u2019s expression softened\u2014from nervousness to a calm, genuine smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery team, who worked tirelessly to arrange Seongmin\u2019s meeting with T1, couldn\u2019t be there in person, they were thrilled to hear the good news. <strong>Through the Wish Maker project, SK Innovation employees, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, T1, and Seongmin all came together as one, united in their support for Seongmin\u2019s journey ahead.<\/strong> This experience helped Seongmin discover new direction as he prepares for adulthood, and the uplifting energy from meeting his role models gave him renewed hope for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
