One representative technology is the immersion cooling solution, being jointly developed with SK Enmove. With immersion cooling, heat is managed by submerging batteries in cooling fluid. Additionally, a Hyundai WIA autonomous mobile robot (AMR), which is equipped with SK On\u2019s NCM (ternary) battery and is being used in industrial environments like Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), will be part of the exhibit. In response to growing global demand for large-format cells aimed at reducing costs and maximizing production volume, SK On is presenting a high-energy-density LFP pouch battery for ESS. It is also strengthening operational safety and reliability by applying an Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)-based preventive and diagnostic system to a containerized ESS DC block for the first time in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advancements in <strong>CTP<\/strong> technology, which eliminates the module stage, will also be introduced. Four pack solutions designed to enhance both energy density and cost competitiveness are being displayed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pouch CTP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Large-Surface Cooling (LSC) CTP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pouch-integrated prismatic pack<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immersion cooling pack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>LSC technology applies cooling plates to the contact surfaces between cells, improving cooling performance by up to three times compared to conventional indirect cooling methods.
