\u25a0<\/strong> Earns certification in just over two years from commercial production, backed by close coordination between HQ and local operations<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SK On Hungary announced today that its Iv\u00e1ncsa plant has earned Ford Q1 certification after meeting the automaker\u2019s rigorous manufacturing and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SK On Hungary said on the 7th that its Iv\u00e1ncsa plant held a ceremony on the 6th (local time) to mark the awarding of Ford\u2019s Q1 certification. At the event, Seong-sik Kim, CEO of SK On Hungary, received the commemorative plaque from a Ford representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ford Q1 is a supplier certification awarded to manufacturing sites that meet Ford\u2019s stringent requirements across areas including manufacturing processes, product quality, continuous improvement and quality management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iv\u00e1ncsa plant began commercial operations in the second quarter of 2024 and has since strengthened its manufacturing and quality systems. Earning Q1 certification marks an important milestone for the site and reflects its ability to meet Ford\u2019s rigorous standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SK On Hungary began the Q1 assessment process last year, with Ford\u2019s evaluation continuing through the first half of 2026. During that period, SK On teams in Korea and Hungary worked together to strengthen manufacturing processes and quality management at the Iv\u00e1ncsa plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the preparation, SK On Hungary reinforced quality management across its manufacturing operations and strengthened preventive controls designed to identify and address potential issues early. Those efforts helped the Iv\u00e1ncsa plant meet Ford\u2019s Q1 requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFord\u2019s Q1 certification reflects the strong commitment and close collaboration of our teams in Korea and Hungary, with quality at the center of everything we do,\u201d said Seong-sik Kim, CEO of SK On Hungary. \u201cWe will continue to strengthen manufacturing and quality performance at our Hungary operations through continuous improvement and proactive quality management, while meeting our customers\u2019 high standards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
