SK Innovation has announced that it was listed in the \u201cDJSI World Company\u201d for the 4th<\/sup> consecutive year. DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices) have been the world\u2019s most well recognized ESG (Environment, Society, and Governance) evaluation. As the main global index of the DJSI family, The DJSI World (Dow Jones Sustainability\u2122 World Index) represents the top 10% of the largest 2500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term economic and ESG factors.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year 2,540 companies worldwide (based on the market capitalization of current assets) were included in the DSJI, and 17 companies in Korea were selected in the DJSI World. In the \u201cOil and Gas\u201d sector, SK Innovation was listed in the DJSI World, DJSI Asia Pacific(1)<\/sup>, and DJSI Korea(2)<\/sup> for the 4th<\/sup> consecutive year.<\/span><\/p>\n (1)\u00a0DJSI Asia Pacific: represents\u00a0the top 20% of the 600 largest\u00a0companies in the Asia-Pacific developed region<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n (2)\u00a0DJSI Korea: represents the top 30% of the 200 largest South Korean companies<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SK Innovation\u2019s active ESG management was recognized abroad and at home. Recently, the company has also received a comprehensive A grade in the 2020 ESG evaluation conducted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS). In particular, SK Innovation ranked 1st<\/sup> place among 740 domestic listed companies in the social sector.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As corporate ESG management has been emerging as a global hot topic due to recent climate change and waste plastic issues, SK Innovation is actively pursuing ESG management based on its vision of Green Balance 2030.
