SK Geo Centric and SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical reached a business cooperation agreement on HCPP product on August 30, 202. SK Geo Centric officially authorized the patented technology of HCPP products to SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical, and successfully introduced SK’s patented products BX3500, BX3800, BX3900, BX3920, and BX3950 into SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical. Since the two parties reached the HCPP product business cooperation, the technicians of both parties have actively prepared technical and production for the HCPP project. After three months preparation, the BX3500 and BX3800 premium products were successfully produced on December 8th<\/sup> and 11th<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n

HCPP is a high-performance special resin with the characteristics of high melt index, high modulus, and impact resistance, which can greatly shorten the molding cycle of products and is easy to achieve the purpose of producing thin-walled and light-weight products. It is widely used in home appliances, automobile interior\/exterior decoration and other fields. Although similar products have been launched by domestic petrochemical manufacturers, they are not comparable with SK\u2019s HCPP products in terms of mechanical properties, processing properties, or low odor.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the production site of SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical\u2019s 3#PP device applying SK patented technology, SK sent an HCPP expert team to work on site for one month to track and direct the whole process from production device preparation, production plan discussion, production operation specifications to product performance analysis. The SK expert team worked closely with the staff of SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical to promote the implementation of HCPP patented products with high quality and efficiency, and have achieved the production of the target products three days ahead of schedule. After detailed comparison and analysis of the product’s micro structure and macro performance by the technical personnel of both parties, the quality of the BX3500 and BX3800 products reach the same level of SK in Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

The successful landing of HCPP products mark that SK Geo Centric and SINOPEC-SK Petrochemical have successfully made the first step in technical cooperation, laying a good foundation for subsequent technical cooperation between the two parties.
