Let\u2019s make our lives better in 2022 with a geocentric mindset.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear SK Geo Centric members,
\nThe year of the Tiger, 2022, has dawned upon us. I sincerely wish happiness and health to all of you and your families.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Living with COVID has been a challenging last year, but thanks to everyone who did their best in the respective positions, we were able to get through. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have also announced a new name, Geo Centric. At our inception, we were Korea\u2019s first petrochemical company. Now, we are beginning anew with the determination to put the environment first and solve the plastic problem. Though the commitment to prioritize the environment may come off as a burden to everyone, we can turn it into a sense of pride and confidence when we realize that we are doing it for the Earth and humanity. Once we successfully develop into a company that creates economic values from solving environmental problems beyond social values, we will be recognized and appreciated for the accomplishment.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To materialize this vision of \u201cGreen for Better Life,\u201d let us carry out the following efforts together.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First, let\u2019s take on a creative challenge.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In establishing our new identity, we have changed everything from our name to business model. We have also proclaimed the goal of achieving zero waste and carbon by building a circular plastics economy. This objective is by no means an easy one to achieve. We cannot reach it if we maintain our old ways of thinking and working; it requires us to be creative in our efforts. I encourage you to develop new ideas and practices and apply them above and beyond. Leaders, including myself, will provide necessary opportunities and encouragement for exerting your full potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Second, let\u2019s create an organizational culture that enables self-learning, growth, and empowerment.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We strive to operate our organization in an agile manner and adapt flexibly and quickly to survive in today\u2019s rapidly changing business environment. To accomplish formidable tasks and successfully implement our financial story, we must create an organizational culture that fosters self-learning, growth, empowerment, and agility.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Leaders need to create a culture where members can fully demonstrate their agility and be creatively inspired, and members need to drop unnecessary steps and focus on working efficiently. Rather than trying to conceive a perfect plan, we need to open a new path through bold execution even with insufficient plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lastly, I wish a pleasant and happy life for everyone.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The direction we are pursuing is for the benefit of our lives. Our vision, \u201cGreen for Better Life,\u201d embodies our dedication to create better lives by solving the plastic problem. The idea of \u201cbetter life\u201d begins with you. Ultimately, being environment-oriented, will improve our lives. Your happiness is vital in bringing our vision to reality. Let us achieve it together while having fun and managing our work-life balance. <\/span><\/p>\n

The outbreak of the virus in 2019 by the name of COVID-19 is still encroaching on our daily lives in 2022. We are all tired and exhausted by the prolonged pandemic, but hopefully, the climate will be different around this time next year. I also hope that our next generation can live in a greener world. Until that day, I sincerely wish the health and safety of everyone and your families.<\/span><\/p>\n
