\u25b2 SKBMC and BEST members take a group photo after the ESG campaign to raise awareness on waste segregation in Jintan, Changzhou, China, on January 8, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n On January 8, SK hi-tech battery materials China (SKBMC) and BEST members gathered to held a campaign BEST to raise awareness on the importance of waste segregation in the local community of Changzhou, where their manufacturing facilities are located. It was also part of their efforts to enhance of local ESS activities. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SKBMC is a battery separator manufacturing subsidiary SK IE Technology, and BEST is the name of the JV battery cell production plant of SK On\u2019 and Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings (BAIC) and Beijing Electronics Holding. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25b2 (Left) The campaign booth set up by SKBMC and BEST in Wuyue Square, the biggest shopping center in Jintan District, Changzhou, China \/ (Right) Members of SKBMC and BEST participate in the ESG campaign held by SKBMC and BEST to raise awareness on waste segregation in Jintan, Changzhou, China, on January 8, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event aimed to raise interest among the people of Changzhou on the gravity of environmental pollution and ecosystem balance and to increase awareness on the preservation of the environment. It was held in Wuyue Square, the largest shopping center with a great number of people passing by in the entire city. There, SKBMC and BEST members campaigned by spreading the message such as \u201cSegregating waste starts from me,\u201d and \u201cLet\u2019s create a new culture to protect the Earth,\u201d among others. They also called for the importance of participation in creating a sustainable future. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25b2 SKBMC and BEST members play games with the booth visitors in the ESG campaign held by SKBMC and BEST to raise awareness on waste segregation in Jintan, Changzhou, China, on January 8, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the campaign booth, the members held various activities and games for visitors to experience the waste segregation themselves. Moreover, they informed the visitors about the right way to dispose of waste and promoted the need for the waste bins designed for waste segregation, raising awareness among the participants on the importance of environment protection. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event ended with great success, thanks to the efforts exerted by SKBMC and BEST members. It received a lot of attention from the citizens who visited the booth and enjoyed the activities.
