SK Innovation,\u00a0donated 50,000 US dollars\u00a0to the United Way of Enid and Northwest Oklahoma(1)<\/sup> (United Way of Enid) to support the local community during COVID-19, through its subsidiary SK E&P America(2)<\/sup>. On May 19 (local time), Dan Schiedel – CEO of United Way of Enid and Northwest Oklahoma, Johnny Rowe – Superintendent of SK E&P America, Inc. Superintendent and Chief of the Enid and other staff from SK E&P America attended the donation event\u00a0took place\u00a0at the United Way of Enid office.<\/span> <\/p>\n In 2014, SK Innovation established SK Plymouth to acquire a 75% stake in an oil field\u00a0in Garfield\u00a0and Grant Counties,\u00a0Oklahoma, and also 50% stake in\u00a0another oil field in\u00a0Crane County, Texas to produce shale gas and shale oil. In addition,\u00a0the company acquired the whole stake of Longfellow Nemaha, LLC, an American shale developer to secure Nemaha block in March 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SK Innovation is constantly making the effort to\u00a0fulfill the management philosophy of SK Group, which seeks to maximize the happiness of all stakeholders. This donation also aims to create social value through win-win cooperation with the local community in Oklahoma, where the company\u2019s business site is located.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25b2 Johnny Rowe – Superintendent of SK E&P America, Inc. Along with the economic downturn, the Enid community is also facing other difficulties such as lack of testing equipment. The 50,000 USD donation will be assigned to the \u2018United Way of Enid & NW OK COVID-19 Response Fund\u2019, which is being operated by a coalition of philanthropy, government, and business partners to support local residents affected by COVID-19. Specifically, the donation will be used to provide 1500 hygiene kits (facemasks, hand sanitizers, etc.) to the low-income community and support IT devices and Wi-Fi for remote learning for students in the neighborhood of Enid.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Previously, on May 14 (local time), SK Innovation also made a 400,000 USD donation to Augusta University in Georgia, where the company\u2019s first EV battery plant is located.
